I stopped off in India for 3 months, I was on my way back from an exhibition I had in Tokyo.

I Rented a goat shed type space, with a well outside to wash etc. I lived and worked in this shed/hut with the intention of making a series of paintings, which were exhibited the following year in Tokyo.

India, as anyone who has ever been knows, Is a very unique, colourful, contrasting, contradictory, beautiful, unpredictable, inspiring place, which i guess are some of the ingredients I try to capture in my painting.
